I cannot believe that it has been that long since I started this blog... Definitely it was the wrong time in my life to start anything, lol.
Wow, the last time I posted something I was in the process of transitioning. That was since May 2011.
Well, I did the big chop a couple of months later. July 13th, 2011!!! Yes, my big chop day.
It has been a journey since then. The first couple of weeks were highly questionable, lol. Even though, I knew that I made the right decision and I had been looking forward to that day for a long time. The drastic change required some getting used to. I had NEVER in my ENTIRE life had my hair that short before and I had to learn and still have to learn how to take care and deal with my hair.
The first pic, I was around 1 to 1 1/2 months post BC and the second one around 3 months. Even though I am excited to see how my hair will grow during this Journey, the most important thing to me is HEALTHY hair. Most of the pics that I've taken so far have been with my phone, so once I figure out how to post them from the phone I'll post more pics.
I realized that I was not keeping tract of what's going on with my hair so this blog will help me do so. To my lovely ladies, please feel free to give tips on what's been working for
you.
Stay Blessed, chicas!

ALL ABOUT HAIR
I can't believe that I'm doing this blog, nevertheless here I am. The whole purpose of this blog is to record my natural hair journey...
I am currently transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. It has been a journey so far, I am now 9 or 10 months post relaxer. I can't remember if it was July 2010 or August 2010 since I last relaxed, but I will look on my calendar to verify the exact date.
I've always known that I would transition to natural hair, I just never knew when exactly that I'd make that change. That time is finally here, and I have total peace in my heart about it. I am excited about this journey and I will go into more detail on my next post about my hair history and my future plans for this hair of mine. I might also post pics, well I guess I will post pics that I took during this whole transitioning period and what I've been doing to my hair.
